Probe on as unidentified body found floating near beach in Kilifi

Investigations are ongoing after the body of an unidentified adult was found floating near the beach in Kilifi County.
A police report obtained by Citizen Digital shows that the body was discovered along the shore of Juba-Shehe Hamisi Beach by local fishermen.
Officers from Matsangoni Police and detectives from Kilifi North responded to the incident which happened at Roka Location.
Upon arrival at the scene of the incident, the authorities proceeded to collect the remains.
The body was taken to the Kilifi County Referral Mortuary for preservation and further identification.
"The case has been classified as a Person Unidentified (P.U.I), and the DCI Kilifi North is handling the investigation," police said.
