2 arrested in connection with disappearance of Mlolongo salonist Jane Mwende

Police in Mlolongo, Machakos County have arrested two people in connection with the disappearance of Jane Mwende, a salonist in the area who went missing two weeks ago after receiving a call from a client.

The two suspects, a man and his wife were arrested on Saturday evening in the Mlolongo area.

This was after police got information that Mwende could have disappeared as a result of a love triangle involving the man identified as Januaris Musau, alias Shady, his wife and another woman in the area identified as Phyllis Mbithi.

Ms Mbithi is being pursued by police.

Detectives are also pursuing two other suspects who are alleged to have been involved in her disappearance.
