Actress Jackie Matubia, who plays the character Nana on Citizen TV’s ‘Zora’ series, is walking into the New Year with her second pregnancy.

The digital content creator took to Instagram to make the news public via a humorous video synchronized with a viral TikTok sound.

In the clip, Jackie is seen lip-syncing to Nicki Minaj’s voice saying, “I took some time off to rest, and now it’s game time.”

Jackie surprised her fans by first showing off her face only, before zooming out to flaunt her baby bump.

“You will have to judge me because I cannot explain. Baby number 2,” she captioned the video.

In a follow-up post, the 31-year-old, who is already a mother to a girl, shared a photo in which she wrote, “Blessed! Baby number two on the way.”

The pregnancy announcement attracted congratulatory messages from her online friends, fans and followers.

The former Tahidi High actress will now be a mother of two after welcoming her first child, Zari Wanjiku, in 2015.

Jackie Matubia and ex-husband Kennedy Njogu, who is a pilot and the father to her first child, separated and parted ways in March 2019.

"I got married in 2015 but after the breakup, I decided to give myself time. At that point, you don't know who to talk to as you are left all alone,” she said in a previous interview.

“It breaks you more as you always want people to hear your side of the story. I rushed to get married with no one to mentor me, so I learned how to manage a marriage from working it out with my partner."
