Chadian Dillah Acelle crowned as Africa’s Next Super Model 2025

The 22-year-old emerged victorious from 16 contenders representing countries across Africa, impressing judges with her poise, confidence and runway prowess.
“I’m so excited to have won this competition. This is not just a win for me, but for every young girl who aspires to break into the fashion world. I hope my journey inspires them and shows that anything is possible with hard work, confidence, and perseverance,” Acelle said.
“This win is for every dreamer, every girl who dares to aim high.”
Acelle received a $5,000 cheque presented by Studio 24, Chris Oputa and secured opportunities for international exposure and collaborations with luxury fashion brands.
The finale was co-hosted by media personality Nailantei Kenga and BBC senior reporter Ata Ahli.
The grand finale drew key figures from Kenya’s creative sector, including Collins Okoth from the Kenya Film Commission, who praised the competition’s role in the creative economy and Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya.
The event also attracted international support, with the President of Design Essentials, Cornell McBride, attending for the second year, marking continued collaboration with Isis Models.
Adding a cultural touch, Daima Mkenya Africa, founded by Zahra Balewah Moi, showcased patriotic fabric incorporating the Kenyan flag.
Kenyan model Lilian Amoni impressed judges as well, finishing among the top six finalists.
Africa’s Next Super Model announced its top 16 finalists on Friday, November 21, 2025, ahead of the competition's grand finale scheduled for Saturday at Broadwalk Mall in Nairobi.
The finalists were chosen from 34 contestants representing countries including Kenya, Chad, Congo, South Sudan, Ethiopia, and Nigeria. The selection process focused on contestants’ presence, personality, and potential for the runway.
The event also paid tribute to Joan Okorodudu, Founder of Africa’s Next Super Model and CEO of Isis Models, who was absent due to personal bereavement. A special tribute is planned during the finale.
The winner will receive $5,000, the title of Africa’s Next Super Model, and a platform to launch an international modelling career.
