The parent of a school-going girl in Kiplombe Location, Koibatek Sub-County in Baringo County has launched an appeal for the arrest of a middle-aged man, who is alleged to have impregnated eight girls, forcing them to drop out of school.
Joseph Logon* claims the suspect, popularly known in the area as Major, entices his victims with money before engaging in sexual activities with them.
Logon claims the suspect, a married man, has been arrested on several occasions, but released after bribing his way out.
Logon, whose 15-year-old daughter was the suspect’s victim, now wants the County Government of Baringo, children’s rights organisations and the police to swing into action and arrest the suspect, who “walks scot-free” in the area.
Logon claims security agents in the area are colluding with the suspect to ensure quest for justice for affected children is frustrated.
