Celebrity couple Pascal Tokodi and Grace Ekirapa expecting first baby together

The couple announced the news on social media, sharing photos from their baby bump shoot. “A place in my heart that I never knew was empty has been filled,” Tokodi wrote.

Grace, the soon-to-be mother, also left a touching message..

“The Lord continues to perfect all that concerns our lives and it is beautiful in our eyes. This is a story we shall tell one day. Happy New Year from our growing family.️”

The duo was inundated with congratulatory messages form their fans and celebrity pals after making the announcement.

Having marked their first wedding anniversary in September 2021, the couple faced a lot of backlash from netizens who imposed pressure on the duo to have kids.

Ekipara, the NTV Crossover presenter addressed it saying it's unfair for outsiders to impose opinions on married couples, to an extent of throwing insults at them for not yet having kids in their marriage.

“What I am saying is, nobody really has control over how life will come to this world or how it will leave. God gives and God takes. It is unfair for an outsider to impose on a married couples life and even raise insults about their life and why they are not bringing children into the world. My heart breaks because there are so many people out here who are quick to hurt others with their words by raising demands, insults and accusations before knowing what the other person is going through,”  Ms Ekirapa wrote.
