Construction industry players converge in Kenya for Buildexpo 2025

The 26th edition of BUILDEXPO KENYA 2025 will take place in Nairobi from July 16 to July 18 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC). 

The Expo will bring together global suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors in the building and construction sector under one roof for East Africa’s most influential trade platform.

The premier exhibition will be inaugurated by Housing Development Principal Secretary Charles Hinga, alongside Tourism PS Regina Ombam, and Tourism PS John Ololtuaa. 

The 2025 edition of the Expo will feature participants from over 43+ countries, and will showcase the latest innovations in construction materials, mining equipment, advanced lighting solutions, woodworking machinery, and water technology systems. 

It promises to be a global hub for industry leaders, innovators, and professionals looking to connect, explore opportunities, and drive progress in East Africa’s rapidly growing infrastructure and construction sectors.

Kenya’s construction industry continues to experience significant growth, fueled by large-scale infrastructure projects, affordable housing programs, and rising demand for urban development. 

The Expo is a vital meeting point for industry leaders, investors, developers, architects, engineers, and policy-makers to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and explore business opportunities.

The annual event has gained recognition in the region, attracting participation from key government departments, professional associations, and regulatory bodies. 

Notable among them are representatives from the Konza Technopolis Development Authority, Kenya Professional Realtors Association (KPRA), REBWAK (Real Building Workers Association of Kenya), the NGO Council of Kenya, Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest), Kenya International Freight & Warehousing Association (KIFWA), the Water Sector Workers Association of Kenya, the WASH Alliance Kenya, Sunrise Real Estate Agents Association, the Town and County Planners Association of Kenya, the Association of Construction Managers of Kenya (ACMK), and the Association of Real Estate Stakeholders. 

The 2025 edition will feature Prime Exhibitors such as LESOL CITY LTD, PL INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS KENYA LIMITED, LINKMISR INTERNATIONAL, ENRICH EQUIPMENT LTD, MOBIKEY TRUCK & BUS, and LI DONG (SINGAPORE) TRADE PTE. LTD. 

They will appear alongside first-time participants from Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. These companies will unveil the latest technologies, equipment, and solutions designed to drive innovation and accelerate infrastructure development across East Africa.
