Corporate and aviation stakeholders unite in support of senior citizens
Corporates and aviation sponsors united at Karura Forest in support of Run for Seniors—standing together for the dignity and wellbeing of our elderly. The main run will take place on July 11, 2025.

Among those present were Jambojet, Safarilink, Centum Re, Amref, Bluebird Aviation, Dragonfly, Jubilee Insurance, Kasas Air, Hawk Aviation, Renegade Air, Futuresoft, Safezone Auto Parts, and 748 Air Services.
Speaking during the event, Mama Ibado Charity Director Amb. Amina Mohamed extended her gratitude to the sponsors and emphasized the organisation’s vision to ensure seniors age with health, dignity, and respect.
“Your presence today reflects a collective spirit of compassion and responsibility for those who once nurtured us,” she said.
MIC President Mr. Ahmed Jibril echoed these sentiments, stating that the mock event was more than a practice run — it was a vital awareness drive.

748 Air Services Managing Director, Mr. Moses Mwangi, called upon all partners and stakeholders to take the next step by registering for the main run.
“Let us not stop here. Let’s ensure our colleagues sign up at www.mamaibado.org. This is for our seniors — our responsibility and our legacy,” he urged.

The aviators, who were in high spirits, expressed the need for society and the government at large to harness collective energy through such events—efforts they say will help cover more ground.

The official Run for Seniors event will take place on 11th July 2025 at Karura Forest. Proceeds from the event will support MIC’s flagship programs that provide monthly food baskets and medical care to over 1,000 elderly beneficiaries across Isiolo and Kakamega Counties.
