Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha has told off those opposed to the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) saying it has worked well despite initial teething problems experienced during its roll-out.

The CS who officially opened the 17th Kenya Primary Schools Heads Association Annual Delegates Conference in Mombasa said CBC is here to stay and urged stakeholders who are opposed to this education system to embrace it.

Magoha also called on teachers  to get vaccinated and for those who have already done so to also go ahead and receive booster shots

“CBC is not examination oriented we are working towards a holistic child. It is wrong to say that CBC is not funded, from 2018 government has spent 28 Billion to every child, the concept of CBC is here to stay,” CS Magoha said.
