Ex-MP aspirant ‘sodomises 18-year-old boy who had gone to shelter in his house on rainy night’

Police in Nyamira County have arrested a man in his 40s accused of sodomising an 18-year-old boy, who had gone to seek shelter in his house on a rainy Monday night.

The incident happened at Nyaisa area in Manga, Nyamira County.

Confirming the incident, area chief Jeremiah Ogendi said the victim reported the incident at a nearby police station after the suspect had committed the act.

The victim was, thereafter, taken to Manga Hospital, where he was treated and discharged.

The suspect, who unsuccessfully ran for Kitutu Masaba Parliamentary seat in a past election, is being held at Manga Police Station as investigations into the incident continue.
