The 2026 WRC Safari Rally Kenya is set to showcase not only international rally talent but also a rising homegrown all-female crew.

Pauline Sheghu and Linet Ayuko, popularly dubbed the “Queens of the Dust,” officially kicked off their campaign during a flag-off ceremony held at the Kenya Wildlife Service facilities in Naivasha.

The duo will compete in one of the world’s most challenging rally events, scheduled to run from 12th to 15th March, drawing top drivers, teams, and motorsport enthusiasts from across the globe.

Sheghu and Ayuko’s participation represents a new wave of Kenyan talent making its mark on the international rally scene. Their training, strategy, and resilience will be tested on Naivasha’s rugged terrain, a proving ground that has shaped some of the sport’s most memorable moments.

The crew’s effort is backed by Farmer’s Choice, which has a long history of supporting Kenyan motorsport. The brand’s association with rallying dates back to the era of legendary driver Ian Duncan, whose famous “Flying Sausage” antics remain part of Kenya’s rally folklore.

By sponsoring the pair, Farmer’s Choice continues a legacy of supporting athletes who demonstrate endurance, focus, and performance under pressure; qualities that resonate with rally sport itself.
