The former Deputy President will begin his day by attending a church service at ACK Nyakagumo church, Maragua town.
Later, he will hold ‘meet the people’ meetings in Maragua town, Kenol Town and Progas in Kabati.
This follows a public rally in Nairobi’s Dagoretti South on Saturday, where he led a grassroots mobilisation drive aimed at popularising the party while rallying support against William Ruto ahead of the 2027 General Election.
In recent days, Gachagua has toured several areas including Githurai, Ruiru, Kikuyu and Murang’a, as he intensifies his political campaign.
In Dagoretti, the former Deputy President called on President Ruto to lower the cost of fuel. He gave him a seven-day ultimatum to reduce fuel prices, warning of nationwide protests if the demand is not met.
Gachagua accused the President of reneging on campaign promises and burdening Kenyans with high fuel costs.
“He lied that he would put money in people’s pockets, instead, he took the little that was there. He increased the price of petrol. We are giving you seven days to remove that thirty shillings on fuel; if you don’t, we will shut down this country,” he said.
