Chelsea’s Eden Hazard danced his way around five Barcelona players to slot in a clinical goal past Marc-André ter Stegen in the Barcelona goal. This was during their pre-season friendly on Tuesday night which ended 2-2 but Chelsea went ahead to defeat Barcelona 4-2 on penalties.

The Belgium international Hazard put Chelsea ahead in the 10th minute with a jolting run, lacing his way through the players before placing his shot calmly past the goalkeeper.

This happened barely after Chelsea’s manager Jose Mourinho commented earlier in the week that Hazard performed better than Ballon d’Or winner Christiano Ronaldo last season. Mourinho seems to suggest that Hazard deserved the title more than any other player in the world.

The 24 year old, Hazard was the best player in the Barclays Premier League during the 2014-15 season and his current form makes him a strong contender for the same this coming season.

Chelsea now head back to London ahead of the Community Shield final at Wembley against Arsenal this coming Sunday the 2nd August.
