Defending champions Nairobi United will headline the 2026 FKF Cup quarterfinals after being paired with KCB FC in one of the standout fixtures of the draw conducted on Thursday.

The ceremony featured notable Kenyan football figures, with former AFC Leopards striker Dr. JJ Masiga and ex-Gor Mahia forward Peter Dawo assisting in drawing the ties, adding prestige to the event.

Nairobi United, who are enjoying a dominant run in the competition, powered into the last eight after a commanding 2–0 win over Posta Rangers in the Round of 16, following an emphatic 8–0 demolition of BMC Allstars earlier on.

Their opponents KCB have been equally convincing, dispatching Chebaiywa Lions 3–0 and Zetech University 4–0 on their route to the quarters.

Elsewhere, five-time champions Tusker FC will square off against disciplined side Ulinzi Stars in what promises to be a tightly contested encounter.

Tusker edged Kariobangi Sharks 1–0 in the previous round, while Ulinzi stunned Kakamega Homeboyz by the same margin after a ruthless 7–0 display against Zoo FC earlier in the tournament.

Two-time winners Bandari FC will take on giant killers Mfalme FC, who shocked Murang’a Seal 5–1 to announce their credentials.

Meanwhile, fan-favorite Shabana FC face 2024 champions Kenya Police FC in another high-stakes duel.

The semifinal bracket has already set up potential fireworks.

The winner between Shabana and Kenya Police will meet either Bandari or Mfalme, while Nairobi United or KCB will clash with the victor between Ulinzi Stars and Tusker.

The quarterfinal matches are scheduled for May 1 and 2, setting the stage for a thrilling run-in toward the final, which will be held at Kwale Stadium on June 14, 2026.
