The family of a man whose body was found dumped by the roadside in Kotieno Location, Gem East, Rangwe in Homa Bay County, is demanding justice.

Enosh Otieno’s mother Hellen Anyango said she received the shocking news on October 5, 2025.

A bodaboda rider discovered the body and alerted the family, who later confirmed that it was their relative.

The killers also poured acid on Otieno’s body before abandoning it a few kilometers away.

His uncle Clement Odundo says the body was later collected by police and taken to Mbeka morgue for postmortem.

Despite the investigation, two weeks have passed, and no suspects have been arrested.

Otieno’s son, Felix Enosh, a fourth-year student at Mount Kenya University, expressed his devastation upon hearing the news. He also voiced fears about his education, as his late father was the sole breadwinner for their family of five children.

The family is appealing to security agencies to expedite investigations and ensure those responsible are brought to justice.

Rangwe police commander Magdalene Chebet confirmed that the matter has been handed over to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) for further inquiries.
