Boniface
Onyango has been ruled out injured for one month in a fresh blow for the
Kariobangi Sharks defender.
The
player has patella tendinitis on his left knee which the Sharks physio-trainer
John Kemboi says he will need 28 days to recover from.
“Bonface
Onyango has been diagnosed with patella tendinitis with hoffa's fat impingement
(left knee). He has undergone diprofos infiltration and will be out of action
for 28 days,” he said.
In June, Onyango suffered a supraorbital fracture on the right
side of his face after sustaining a trauma in training, an injury that saw him
miss the better part of the second leg in the 2020/2021 campaign.
Sharks
are scheduled to play Bidco United when the suspended league resumes next
weekend.
