As Kenya continues to grow socially, economically, and culturally, new ways of giving back to society are also emerging.

One such tradition, well-established in many parts of the world but still new to Kenya-is the charity ball.

On 28th November, Simply Feminine Network (SFN) will host the SFN Grand Ball, marking its 3rd anniversary and introducing a refined, purpose-driven charity culture to Kenyan soil.

A charity ball is a formal, invitation-only philanthropic event that brings together individuals, institutions, companies, and leaders who believe in giving back to society in a meaningful and structured way.

Globally, charity balls are platforms for serious fundraising, high-level networking, and cultural engagement where elegance meets accountability.

Since Kenya has a strong culture of generosity and community support, the SFN Grand Ball hopes to expand this tradition by introducing structured, high-level philanthropic engagement focused on long-term impact, transparency, and strategic partnerships.

The upcoming SFN Grand Ball will strictly be by invitation only as there will be no ticket sales and attendance will be reserved for vetted philanthropists, corporate partners, development institutions, government officials, diplomats, and individuals aligned with SFN's mission.

"Our primary goal is to mobilise meaningful support for women-focused initiatives, including safety, health, dignity, and empowerment programs implemented by Simply Feminine Network," part of the statement said.

Adding, "Guests can expect a refined, international-standard experience featuring a red-carpet arrival, curated programming, national media presence, and meaningful conversations centered on impact and accountability."

While stressing the need for partnerships, SFN said that partnering with organisation will be an opportunity to contribute to sustainable change.

"SFN partners value accountability, long-term impact, and the empowerment of women and girls through structured, ethical initiatives," they said.

The SFN Grand Ball will mark the beginning of a new philanthropic culture in Kenya - one that aligns global standards with local purpose.

It will be held annually, serving as a consistent platform for leadership, generosity, and social transformation.
