Isiolo South MP Tubi Bidu Mohamed dies at Nairobi Hospital

Isiolo South Member of Parliament Tubi Bidu Mohamed has passed away.

In a notification to MPs on Wednesday evening, the National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula announced that Tubi died while receiving treatment at the Nairobi Hospital.

Tubi was serving his first term in Parliament, where he sat in the Departmental Committee on Environment, Forestry and Mining, as well as the Public Petitions Committee.

Before joining the National Assembly, he served as the inaugural Speaker of the Isiolo County Assembly, a position he held until 2017.

Speaker Wetang’ula described the late legislator as a dedicated public servant who made a positive impact on the nation, calling on Members of Parliament and Kenyans to remember him for his remarkable service.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, constituents, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him,” the Speaker said.
