Kakamega residents kill man accused of murdering 5-year-old girl

Irate residents from Nanderema village in Navakholo, Kakamega County, attacked and killed a man suspected of murdering a 5-year-old minor whose body was found in a pit latrine.
It is alleged that 45-year-old Yusuf Busolo enticed the late Emmaculate Nafula by giving her sugarcane before she was last seen alive.
Following an intense search, the parents of the deceased ultimately discovered the body inside the suspect’s house pit latrine.
According to the late Emmaculate’s mother, Florence Nafula, the suspect, a neighbour, was spotted by other children in the vicinity calling the victim before fleeing the neighbourhood moments after committing the murder.
