KPC Volleyball Team delivered a commanding performance at the ongoing African Club Championships, brushing aside SOC in a convincing 3-0 victory that highlighted their tactical discipline, depth, and growing confidence on the continental stage.

Playing in Cairo, the Oilers wasted no time asserting control, setting the tone early with a balanced approach that combined aggressive serving, organized defense, and smart shot selection.

The opening set was competitive, with SOC attempting to match KPC point for point.

However, KPC’s composure in key moments proved decisive, as they edged the set 25-22 through well-timed attacks and minimal unforced errors.

Buoyed by their strong start, KPC elevated their performance significantly in the second set. Their attacking unit came alive, with quick transitions and sharp finishing overwhelming SOC’s defense.

The team’s coordination and rhythm were evident as they dictated play from the service line and at the net.

SOC struggled to contain the pressure, allowing KPC to cruise to a dominant 25-11 win in what was the most one-sided set of the match.

The third set saw SOC attempt a response, showing improved resistance and briefly unsettling KPC’s rhythm.

However, KPC’s experience and structured play quickly restored order.

Their blocking became more effective, and their backcourt coverage ensured that SOC found it difficult to sustain any meaningful comeback.

With renewed focus, the Oilers pulled away and comfortably sealed the set 25-17, completing the straight-sets victory.

Across all three sets — 25-22, 25-11, 25-17 — KPC demonstrated consistency in execution, strong communication on court, and an ability to adapt to different phases of the match.

Their service game repeatedly put SOC under pressure, while their defensive organization limited scoring opportunities for their opponents.

The result not only secures an important win for KPC at the African Club Championships but also reinforces their status as a formidable contender in the tournament.

With momentum building and performances improving, the Oilers will be looking to carry this form into their upcoming fixtures as they continue their quest for continental success in Cairo.
