Kenya Power announces 2-hour interruption of prepaid token system tonight

Kenya Power has alerted its prepaid customers that the electricity token purchase services will be temporarily unavailable for two hours beginning at 11:00 pm on Thursday, June 26.
In a statement, Kenya Power explained that its technical team will be conducting an emergency system maintenance exercise to improve service efficiency and enhance customer experience.
To avoid any inconvenience, Kenya Power advised customers to purchase tokens beforehand.
"For assistance, customers can reach us through our National Contact Centre by calling 97771, dialling USSD *977# or messaging us on our official social media platforms," the statement read in part.
