Kiambu mother in agony as son, 15, mysteriously dies while at school

A mother living in Kiambu is in agony, following the mysterious death of her 15-year-old son.
According to Priscilla Wanjiru, the mother of the late Sebastian Njoroge, she received the news of the death of her son, a Form one student, through unofficial channels.

She said the news reached her on Monday, despite him having allegedly died at school on Friday last week.
Wanjiru said the cause of death given is not consistent.
She said, “At one time I was told that he was injured while playing football, while in another instance, I was told that he was beaten by another student while at the Assembly.”
The school declined to comment on the death.
Wanjiru said the Chuka County Referral Hospital administration confirmed that it received Njoroge's body at their mortuary, while area police boss Paul Kuria also confirmed that a teacher reported the death at Chuka police station.
