The Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) has reunited a patient with his father after a three-month search.

This followed the hospital's social media post on March 1, 2026, about an unidentified man admitted to the facility.

John Kobia, a resident of Tigania East, Meru County, positively identified the patient as his son whose whereabouts he had been seeking over the past three months.

According to KNH, the patient was involved in a road accident on December 4, 2025, along Thika Road and was brought to the hospital by Good Samaritans and later admitted.

"The emotional reunion between father and son took place in the presence of Ms. Catherine Bonareri from the Medical Social Work Department," the hospital posted on X.

"We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who shared our social media post and supported the search. Your collective action made this reunion possible and helped restore hope to a family."
