The Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) 2026 Mid-Season Transfer Window has flung open, giving league clubs a crucial opportunity to strengthen their squads as competitions enter a decisive phase.
In a circular issued on Monday, February 2, 2026, and
addressed to all KVF league clubs, the federation confirmed that the mid-window
transfer season officially commenced on Sunday, February 1, 2026.
According to the federation, the February transfer window is
designed to allow teams to reinforce areas of need, fine-tune tactical plans
and realign their ambitions for the remainder of the 2025/2026 season. Whether
clubs are pushing for league titles, aiming to improve their standings, or
battling to avoid relegation, the window provides a strategic lifeline before
the season intensifies.
KVF emphasized that the window will run for a strict
two-week period, closing on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 23:59 hours. The
federation was clear that no transfers will be processed after the deadline,
urging all stakeholders to complete their dealings within the stipulated
timeframe to avoid last-minute complications.
With the mid-season window now open, attention shifts to how
clubs across the various leagues will respond. Strategic signings, timely
reinforcements and smart squad management over the next two weeks could prove
decisive in shaping the final outcomes of the 2025/2026 volleyball season.
In the spirit of sportsmanship, KVF has also encouraged team
officials to support and guide players throughout the transfer process,
allowing athletes to make informed decisions while ensuring proper
documentation and procedural accuracy.
