Vihiga Queens tactician Boniface Nyamunyamuh is unmoved by the draw they picked on Sunday and is instead focused on clinching the Kenyan Women Premier League title this season.

Vihiga pulled a 1-1 draw on Sunday at Moi Stadium in Kisumu which saw them drop to the second position on the log with 10 points, two shy of the leaders Kenya Police Bullets.

Trinity Starlets, Ulinzi Starlets, and Soccer Assassins occupy third to fifth positions on the log in that order with 10, 7 and 4 points respectively.

"Our aim was to win against Ulinzi but they were too strong for us, that's why we settled on a draw. Ulinzi is a tough side and serious league contenders but that has not killed our morale and focus to win the title."

Elsewhere, at the same venue, Kenya Police hammered Kisumu All Starlets 9-1 while Bungoma Queens settled for a goalless draw against Kayole Starlets at the Bungoma national polytechnic.

On their part, Soccer Assassins, harvested maximum points following their 1-0 win against Kibera Soccer Women.

The four times champions Vihiga Queens will next face Zetech Sparks on Saturday November 15 at Zetech University ground in Mang'u.

"We are preparing well to face Zetech on Saturday - a must win match. We need to win all our matches for us to fulfil our dream of winning the title. We have done best signings this season and our squad has good depth something which gives me hopes each day," added coach Nyamuh.
