Machakos: Probe underway as farmhand is murdered in cold blood

The body of the man, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, was discovered dumped in the compound of the homestead where he worked, leaving the local community in shock and mourning.

The chilling incident unfolded when the farmhand was reported missing by his family after he left home the previous evening and failed to return. Concern grew as the hours passed. The farmhand's employer, a local woman, had left for church early that day, only to receive the devastating news about her worker upon her return.

She was informed by neighbors that his lifeless body had been found in her compound.

Local authorities were alerted and police from Yatta arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation.
