Murang'a: Two dead in suspected murder-suicide

According to locals, the bodies of the two were discovered by a neighbor who was curious about why the woman had not left her house.

Upon peering into her house through the window, they saw her body on the bed, swathed in a bed sheet while her lover- a suspect in the murder-  was dangling from a rope tied to the roof. 

The circumstances surrounding the deaths of the man and woman, who are said to have been lovers, have yet to be determined.

The deceased woman, according to her neighbors, was widowed and was living with her last born child who was in school during the incident.
