Ol Kalou MP David Njuguna Kiaraho dies

Ol Kalou, Member of Parliament David Njuguna Kiaraho, has passed on.

Kiaraho passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, while undergoing treatment at the Nairobi Hospital.

Njuguna has been serving as a Member of Parliament for Ol Kalou constituency since 2013, and was serving his third term at the National Assembly. 

In the 13th Parliament, the late Kiaraho served as a Member of the Departmental Committee on Transport & Infrastructure and the Procedure and House Rules Committee.

Outside Parliament, Kiaraho built a long-term professional career as an architect and served as Principal Architect at Archgrid Systems. 

National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula announced Kiaraho's demise on Sunday, and appointed Members to the Funeral Preparation Committee to liaise with the family and coordinate the MP's send-off. 

Wetangula said the team will be led by Kinangop MP Kwenya Thuku, assisted by Nyandarua MP Faith Gitau, and seven other members.
