President Obama, Michelle Worth $7 Million

Obama earns a basic salary of $400,000 per year combined with his best-selling book royalties reported to rake a  total of  between $45,000 and $150,000.

In the report, Obama and the first lady’s largest jointly owned asset continues to be $1 million to $5 million in Treasury notes with a liability in their 30-year mortgage of a Chicago home worth between $500,000 and $1 million servicing an interest rate of 5.6 %.

Vice President Joe Biden is worth as much as $1.1 million including a rental property in Wilmington, Delaware, valued at $100,000 to $250,000. Biden reported a $15,000 to $50,000 in rental income.

US Presidents, high-level executive officials, members of Congress and federal candidates must disclose information about their finances every year under the Ethics in Government Act of 1978.
