Speaking during a service at AIC Milimani on Sunday, the President congratulated all winners of the latest by-elections, noting that their victories reflect the confidence Kenyans have placed in them across political divides.
Ruto appealed to citizens to continue praying for the country’s leadership as it navigates what he described as “tough but surmountable” national challenges. He emphasized that the vision of a first-world Kenya will be achieved through committed governance and sustained investment in key infrastructural projects.
“I want to congratulate all of them—from all political parties and formations,” President Ruto said. “No leader is elected by default or by chance; it is God who determines leadership. Let us support them so we can move our country to the next level.”
Reflecting on the progress made over the past three years, the President said he believes the country is on the right trajectory.
“I have great confidence in the future of Kenya. I have seen what God can do. Three years ago we were struggling with the economy, health, education—but God has healed our economy,” he said.
Ruto also highlighted the recent commissioning of a 175-kilometre road project, describing it as a significant milestone that will open up economic opportunities across nearly half of the country.
“When I was launching the 175km road that will unlock the potential of half our country, I was very proud that God is opening spaces for Kenya,” he added.
