Probe as man allegedly dies by suicide in Embu

Investigations are underway after a 26-year-old man died by suicide.

The incident happened at Karigiri village in Kyeni North, Embu County.

Residents report that the young man was found dead in his house on Tuesday night.

Residents are deeply concerned about a rising trend of suicide cases in the area, with at least two similar incidents reported in recent days.

They are calling on religious leaders and community stakeholders to intensify efforts to guide and counsel young people.

The body has been taken to Kyeni Hospital mortuary for a postmortem.
