Returning Magige headlines Mombasa Stars new signings

Super League side Mombasa Stars has beefed up their squad with acquisition of
eight new players.
The Mombasa-based
side has brought on board three Bandari FC players on loan including midfielder
Dennis Magige, striker Alvin Ngoto and goalkeeper Aleeleya Sheikh.
Magige has
had a series of loan spells away from Bandari FC since earning earning
promotion to the senior team from the youth team in 2018. The midfielder had
previously had a loan spell with Mombasa Stars, Coast Stima and Ulinzi Stars.
Others new signings
are; Felix Omondi from Shimanzi FC, Mbaruku Mohamed from Sokiki FC, Hajj
Mohamed from Kiembeni United, Leachie Odhiambo from Vihiga Bullets and Salim
Mohamed from Mvita Young Stars.
Mombasa
Stars head coach Hussein Mohammed "Madaga" has applauded Magige for
showing resilience despite the ups and downs in his career, " I believe
Magige will be instrumental for our season, he will bring the experience needed
and help us achieve our dream". He said
Mombasa
Stars team manager Ken Juma is optimistic of a strong finish to the season with
the help of new recruits, " We had to strengthen our midfield area which
had issues but now we are set to go for the second leg and we hope to finish
the league in 3rd or 4th position".
Mombasa
Stars who will face Kajiado FC tomorrow in Ildamat grounds are currently 12th in
the NSL log with 23 points after 18 rounds of matches.
