Storey building under construction collapses in Rongo

Though it has not been established the number of the people who were inside the collapsed building, it is suspected that several people are still trapped inside it.

Police have indicated that a man and a woman who were around the building sustained minor injuries and have been rushed to the hospital.

Leaders led by Rongo Member of Parliament Paul Abuor are on site as the rescue operations underway at the site.

Abuor said they have mobilized more equipment to help them in the rescue exercise.

The legislator said they are yet to establish the number of people still trapped in the collapsed building.
