Thika police seize 86kg of bhang at Kiambu village

The outlawed substance was seized at Kiganjo village on Tuesday, by sleuths on patrol in collaboration with members of the public.

According to Kiambu County commander Muchangi Kioi, the drug was packed inside a vehicle.

Speaking at Makongeni police station, where the illegal drugs are being held, Kioi said police have in recent times recovered bhang from various stations and warned peddlers to keep away from the vice, citing that full force of the law will be enforced to deal with criminals.

He further rooted for collaboration with members of the public in volunteering information, saying that his officers had launched a manhunt for the occupants of the vehicle who fled.
