The three murder suspects arrested by police and DCI officers from headquarters following the killing of a medical officer are set to be arraigned after the conclusion of the probe.

Titus Wainaina Njoroge, Jeremiah Njuguna Kinyanjui and Patrick Kinuthia Mwangi are suspected of being involved in a robbery with violence incident that resulted in the murder of Richard Rotich, a pharmacist at Moi Teaching & Referral Hospital (MTRH) in Eldoret.

Addressing the press in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu county police commander Benjamin Mwanthi noted that the suspects were arrested with one AK-47 rifle.

Mwanthi said one of the suspects is a convict who was arrested in 2018 and released after 7 years.

He assured residents that security has been beefed up and should undertake their business as usual.
