Two killed as lorry rams into parked trucks at Kisii petrol station

Two people died on Sunday morning after a lorry lost control and rammed into several trucks parked at Tosha Petrol Station along the Kisii-Keroka Road in Kisii Central Sub-county.
The accident occurred at around 4:30am.
According to an incident report, the Isuzu FVR lorry, which was ferrying cereals, crashed into eight lorries that had been parked at the petrol station.
The two occupants of the cereal truck died on the spot.
Police officers and emergency responders arrived at the scene and launched investigations to establish the cause of the crash, as efforts to clear the wreckage from the busy Kisii-Keroka Road got underway.
Authorities have urged motorists to exercise caution, especially when travelling in the early morning hours.
