Two people killed, another injured in accident on Marsabit-Isiolo highway

Two people were on Wednesday evening
confirmed dead after a road accident past Laisamis area on the Marsabit - Isiolo
highway.
Confirming the incident, Laisamis sub-county
Deputy County Commissioner Lagat Bosek said one more person was injured during
the unfortunate incident.
The ill-fated private vehicle had a tyre
burst before it veered off the road, rolling and killing the two on the spot.
Three people were on board during the
accident and were en route to Nairobi from Moyale.
The injured person has been referred to a Nanyuki
hospital for further medication.
The bodies of the deceased have since been
moved to the Laisamis Catholic Hospital mortuary.
