Two people have died following a road accident along the Kenol-Muranga road in Murang'a County.
Maragua police boss Alexander Shikondi said the incident happened after the driver of a lorry lost control of the vehicle, before ramming into a matatu.
The driver of the matatu died on the spot. Police added that one passenger who was rushed to hospital succumbed to their injuries at Murang'a Hospital.
Meanwhile, seven others are undergoing treatment at Kenol Hospital with the vehicle towed to Makuyu police station.
