Two suspects arrested with 477kgs of bhang worth Ksh.14M in Kilifi

Police in Kilifi County have arrested two suspects in possession of 477 kilograms of marijuana estimated to be worth Ksh.14 million.

George Nitti and Raphael Mbithi, both 37-years-old, were nabbed on Wednesday morning within Swallows Area by the officers.

According to the National Police Service (NPS), the pair was ferrying the marijuana using a vehicle model Toyota Harrier when they were intercepted.

The vehicle was hence also impounded as detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) probe the matter.
