United opposition heads to Kitui for two-day tour

Members of the United Opposition have embarked on a tour of Kitui County on April 22 and 23, 2026. 

Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) party leader Rigathi Gachagua, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, People's Liberation Party (PLP) leader Martha Karua and Democratic Action Party’s Eugene Wamalwa are part of the delegation in the popularization tour. 

Jubilee Deputy Party Leader Fred Matiang'i, Democratic Party leader Justin Muturi and Trans Nzoia governor George Natembeya will also be joiuning the Kitui tour. 

The tour follows another engagement in Murang’a County, where the opposition castigated President William Ruto’s government over what he termed as poor leadership.
