Wanted dual citizen suspected of fraud arrested at JKIA

Detectives based at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) have arrested a 37-year-old dual citizen of Somalia and Australia in connection with fraud.
The suspect, Ige Nasa, was intercepted at Terminal 1A upon
arrival from Australia via Johannesburg aboard a Kenya Airways Flight.
According to the Kenya Police Service, Nasa was flagged by
an active immigration control alert issued on January 30, 2026, which was linked
to a case of obtaining money by false pretences.
Following his arrest, the suspect was processed at JKIA
Police Station and handed over to officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) for further investigations.
