Woman stabs husband to death in Kisumu

Police in Kisumu Central Sub-county have launched a manhunt for a woman accused of fatally stabbing her husband in the Aliwa area of Migosi Estate on Thursday night.

According to authorities, the suspect fled the scene immediately after the incident, which left residents in shock. 

Police officers who responded to the alert found the man’s body with multiple stab wounds and transported it to the mortuary for a postmortem examination.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear and is now the focus of ongoing investigations.

Neighbours told police that the couple, who had been cohabiting as husband and wife, were frequently involved in domestic disputes.

Kisumu Central Sub-county Police Commander confirmed the search for the suspect is underway and urged anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward.
