Renegade air launches daily direct flights to Kisumu
Renegade Air has launched 2 daily flights to Kisumu ,expanding its routes from Wajir which was the only destination they were flying .
According to the airline’s management the route expansion comes at a time when the the economy is slowly reopening .
Kisumu governor Anyang’ Nyongo welcomed the carrier stating that it would open up the Western part of the country.
Renegade Air has priced its tickets at Ksh 5,000 one way to Kisumu with plans to expand to other routes in the coming months .
“One-way ticket from our operating hub at the Wilson Airport to Kisumu is only sh 5000 Kenya inclusive of the 20-kilogram luggage and free refreshment pack,” Patrick Okech, the head of marketing at Renegade air said.
Renegade air has a fleet of 9 aircrafts that is uses to provide provide charter flights to meet most requirements whether for a private holiday, corporate travel or a group travel.
”This is a welcome move by the carrier . We expect it to increase tourism activities in the region especially after the effects by the pandemic,” Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyongo said.
