A seven-year-old Kenyan girl and her father have been featured in the American daytime television variety talk show, the Kelly Clarkson Show after their dazzling performance in a song.

The duo consists of radio presenter and musician Monique Bett's daughter and her husband, Richard.

The duo brought a social media buzz after magnificently performing Lewis Capaldi’s 'Someone you loved' cover, which has since garnered over 21 million YouTube views.

American singer Kelly Clarkson while hosting celebrity actor Nick Jonas and actress Raquel Robinson, extolled the minor for her vibrato and mastery of the popular pop song.

The daddy-daughter duo also got a chance to engage remotely with the U.S based Show host who features celebrity artists from all walks of life globally.

Clarkson hailed the pair for their prowess.

Richard, the girl's father said is a pianist and guitarist while his wife is a radio host and a professional singer. Their daughter Aiko is a singer.

“Music makes me feel free and happy…When I grow up, I want to be a singer,” Aiko said after Clarkson sought to find out the motivation behind her singing.

“Her little voice makes you feel like she is speaking through her words,” her dad Richard said regarding her passion for music.

Upon Aiko’s request to meet Clarkson, the American songstress granted her plea inviting her for a collabo. "I would love it if you come to sing with me…If you ever want to, I would love to sing with you on this show,” Clarkson said amidst cheers from the audience.
