'Akothee is the rudest client I have ever worked with,' Make-up artist Dennis Karuri claims

Karuri claimed that he suffered at the hands of the self-proclaimed President of Single Mothers, who was rude to him throughout their day of collaboration.

Karuri went on to say that Akothee compared her face makeup to dust, implying that Karuri's makeup skills were in question.

“She’s the rudest client I’ve ever worked with, alinipitisha, but I did it diligently mpaka mwisho, I suffered. The whole day I was with her, I even did personal assistant duties for her, it was a Peptang activation, I was walking around with her, doing touch ups all the way,” said Karuri while speaking on comedian Obinna’s KulaCooler show, Monday January 31. 

“She said nilimpaka vumbi, she said hizi ni vumbi gani umenipaka yet she’s over there taking pictures and posting them so I was like hii ni vumbi na unaipost,” he added.

The in-demand makeup artist also revealed that he was paid as agreed, but that he was dissatisfied because the compensation did not match his suffering.

 “Yes I was paid as agreed but not as per my suffering,” said Karuri.

Karuri vowed to never work with the 'Give it to me' singer again after the humiliating treatment.
