Winehouse, who died at 27 from alcohol poisoning in July 2011, wore the mini dress by her stylist Naomi Parry when she took the stage in Belgrade, Serbia in June that year.
This is 16 times its estimated original price.
The dress was among other items auctioned in the “Property from the life and career of Amy Winehouse" auction taking place in Beverly Hills, USA over the weekend.
A Temperley London jumpsuit which Winehouse wore for Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday tribute performance in Hyde Park, London also sold for Ksh.13.5 million (£90,000), while the Moschino handbag the ‘Rehab’ singer carried to the Brit Awards in 2007 raked in a whooping Ksh.22.9 million (£152,000).
More than Ksh.440 million (£3 million) is reported to have been raised from the auction.
Part of the proceeds from the sales go to The Amy Winehouse Foundation, which was established by the singer’s parents to support young people dealing with addiction.
