Anerlisa Muigai narrates how ex-boyfriend tried to con her Ksh.3.5M

Keroche Breweries heiress Anerlisa Muigai has revealed that one of her ex-lovers tried to swindle her out of USD 30,000 (approx. Ksh.3.5 million, by today’s conversation rates).

Anerlisa made the revelation on Friday as part of her own personal experience on why most relationships today end up in break ups.

She said she walked into her apartment one day from work and caught the said lover in a secret call with another party with whom he was planning how to con her.

The Nero Company CEO, while claiming to have even recorded the said phone conversation as the man did not hear her come into the house, however said the plot hit a brick wall.

Anerlisa further disclosed that the relationship had at the time lasted for less than a year when she uncovered the plot to defraud her.

“The amount they planned to take from me was $30,000 which they never succeeded because anyone who’s dated me knows that I don’t hand out money,” she wrote.

“That’s why I laugh when I hear people say ‘he dated her and left with nothing.’ Yes, they leave with nothing, only thing you’ll remember is my genuine love and experience.”

The influencer-cum-socialite also cited feeling entitled to other people’s things as the other reason why another of her relationships failed.

She narrated how she dated a guy who pressed her to reveal to him her ATM Pin, and also started eavesdropping and chiming in to her conversations with her mother, Keroche boss Tabitha Karanja.

Anerlisa further disclosed dating a guy who, one year into the relationship, said to her: “You should have built me a house by now or even open for me a company like yours.”

She revealed that the said man dumped her a week after she responded to him saying, “If you thought starting a relationship with me will make you rich, then you are in the wrong relationship my friend.”

“Anyway, moral of the story; Get into a relationship to only love and make each other better mentally and emotionally. You might have a plan but God is the one who approves it and no evil plans are approved by him,” she added.

This comes a day after the heiress booked an entire restaurant to celebrate her boyfriend’s birthday.
