Annie Idibia responds to claims 2Face sired 8th child with a banker

Actress Annie Idibia, the wife Nigerian singer 2Face Idibia has responded to widespread claims that he has sired another child with a banker.

In an instagram post, Annie laughed off the widespread claims that emerged last week and left the public perturbed by 2Face’s consistent unfaithfulness.

"As in na since 2014 this supposed 'banker' dey carry de belle ooo lol. Just cannot with these malicious humans!n [sic]” Mrs Idibia wrote.

Earlier Idibia’s manager Efe Omorogbe had also denied the that the artist was expecting his sixth child outside marriage, terming them as mere hearsays and as fake news.

“Pregnancy report news is fake news. It's understandable for fans, friends, and concerned members of the public to get curious and seek to know why @official2baba posted an apology to his wife @annieidibia1, family, and management a few days ago,” Efe wrote.

Last week, 2Face alias 2Baba had taken to his social media to write an apology to his wife, kids, mother and management, without saying what his mistake was.

After the singer wrote a public apology to his wife, family, management team, and friends, reports circulated on social media implying that he had impregnated another lady following his apology to his wife and family. The 'African Queen' hitmaker was rumoured to be expecting his sixth child out of wedlock with a Nigerian banker.

“This is no stunt, I’m sorry for all the embarrassment I’ve caused my wife, my kids, my mother and all our families and my management team. I’m not looking for no sympathy, I’m not trying to make myself look good. This is no reverse psychology bullshit. I simply just don’t want to be the one that always apologise,” read part of the apology from the 'African Queen' hitmaker.

“I’ve bee a sh**y father and a sh**y husband and sh**y baby daddy. I have no excuses I just want to do right by my wife, and my kids and their moms and my mom and all families and my manager and friends,” he added.

The Nigerian music icon has been on the spotlight for having numerous affairs before, while still married to Annie Idibia.

2Face 7 children, 5 of whom were born out of wedlock. Annie’s two daughters are the singer’s 6th and 7th born.
