Kenyans have been questioning the whereabouts of musician-turned-politician Kevin Kioko alias Bahati, who went silent after losing his Mathare MP bid at the August 9 General Election.

Upon conclusion of the polls, Bahati went mute for close to two months without a single post on his social media, going as far as deleting all his previous Instagram posts.

His wife, lifestyle vlogger Diana Marua, also followed suit a few weeks ago after leaving a cryptic message on her official Instagram account asking for prayers, seemingly hinting that things were not all rosy.

Bahati late Monday however took to Instagram to announce that he would finally be breaking his silence on Tuesday.

“It's Time... Tomorrow 12pm... #BahatiSpeaks!!!'' he wrote.

In a subsequent post on Tuesday morning, he went back to the social media platform to post a video which he captioned: “At times a man has to say something ….”

He, however, failed to issue an address, but rather just dropped a new song dubbed ‘Mambo ya Mhesh.’

The video had more than 7,000 viewers streaming live during the premiere, and over 98,000 views at the time of publishing.
