Sauti Sol vocalist Bien Aime and comedian Eric Omondi appeared to have a squabble at the 'NRG Wave' concert on New Year's eve.

The two Kenyan entertainers met at the entrance of the event where Bien was expected to perform while Omondi was expected to host.

An intense exchange of words and slurs immediately ensued between the two.

Sauti Sol's Bien confronted Omondi asking him to physically address the issues that the comedian has previously talked about via social media.

Bien was referring to Omondi's plight for Kenyan musicians to perform last during concerts however Bien and many other Kenyan musicians like Khaligrah and Juacali argued that it does not matter the order of performance as long as artists are paid their worth.

"...Eric you're stupid, who performs last doesn't matter, I've been paid a lot of money to be here, nishalipwa pesa zangu..." said Bien

Bien then tried to throw Omondi off by hilariously referring to the fact that the comedian had put dye on his head to hide his 'non-existent hairline'.

Bien said, "ngoja ngoja umepaka dye kwa kichwa huna hairline?"

Comedian Omondi then hit back: "It matters for the upcoming generation" to which Bien responds "That what happens?" and then Omondi responded "That we're respected"

However, Sauti Sol singer Bien was not buying Omondi's response and went ahead to give examples of musicians who are well paid in Kenya.

Bien went on to advise the comedian to focus on his career which he believed was on a downward spiral.

"What matters is that they are paid and they are being paid, you're stupid, they are being paid I have people like akina Nviiri and Bensoul who are being paid...," he said.

"Go and fight for yourself because your career is on its deathbed..." Bien said while Omondi held on to Bien's jacket as if asking for a fight.

However, the two went their separate ways after agreeing to disagree on the matter.

This comes about two months after Eric Omondi referred to Kenyan musicians as mere curtain raisers to international artists. A sentiment that most Kenyan musicians especially Bien, did not agree with, resulting in an online exchange of words.
